Au chef de musique. De David ; pour faire souvenir.

1 [Fangatataham-pamonjena] Ho an'ny mpiventy hira. Nataon'i Davida. Ho fampahatsiarovana. Andriamanitra ô, faingàna hanafaka ahy; Jehovah ô, faingàna hamonjy ahy.

2 Aoka ho menatra sy hangaihay izay mitady ny aiko; aoka hiamboho sy ho afa-baraka izay faly amin'ny manjo ahy;

3 Aoka hiamboho noho ny fahamenarany izay manao hoe: Hià! sakoa izay!

4 Aoka hifaly sy ho ravoravo aminao izay rehetra mitady Anao; ary aoka izay tia ny famonjenao hanao mandrakariva hoe: hankalazaina anie Andriamanitra.

5 Fa izaho dia ory sy malahelo; faingàna hankatỳ amiko, Andriamanitra ô; Mpamonjy sy Mpanafaka ahy Hianao; aza ela, Jehovah ô.

Psalm 70

1 Hurry, God, to deliver me.
Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
2 Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul.
Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
:3 Let them be turned because of their shame
Who say, “Aha! Aha!”
:4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you.
Let those who love your salvation continually say,
“Let God be exalted!”
5 But I am poor and needy.
Come to me quickly, God.
You are my help and my deliverer.
Yahweh, don’t delay.

Psaume 70
1 (70:1) Au chef des chantres. De David. Pour souvenir. (70:2) O Dieu, hâte-toi de me délivrer! Éternel, hâte-toi de me secourir!

2 (70:3) Qu'ils soient honteux et confus, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie! Qu'ils reculent et rougissent, ceux qui désirent ma perte!

3 (70:4) Qu'ils retournent en arrière par l'effet de leur honte, Ceux qui disent: Ah! ah!

4 (70:5) Que tous ceux qui te cherchent Soient dans l'allégresse et se réjouissent en toi! Que ceux qui aiment ton salut Disent sans cesse: Exalté soit Dieu!

5 (70:6) Moi, je suis pauvre et indigent: O Dieu, hâte-toi en ma faveur! Tu es mon aide et mon libérateur: Éternel, ne tarde pas!
