2 Andriamanitro ô, Hianao no itokiako, aoka tsy ho menatra aho; aoka tsy hifalian'ny fahavaloko aho.

3 Eny, tsy hisy ho menatra izay rehetra miandry Anao; fa izay mivadika foana no ho menatra.

4 Ampahafantaro ny lalanao aho, Jehovah ô; ampianaro ny sitrakao aho.

5 Tariho amin'ny fahamarinanao aho, ka ampianaro; fa Hianao no Andriamanitry ny famonjena ahy; Hianao no andrasako mandritra ny andro.

6 Tsarovy ny antranao sy ny indrafonao, Jehovah ô, fa hatrizay hatrizay ireny.

7 Aza ny fahotan'ny fahatanorako, na ny ratsy nataoko, no tsarovanao; fa aoka ho araka ny famindram-ponao no hahatsiarovanao ahy, noho ny fahasoavanao Jehovah ô,

8 Tsara sy mahitsy Jehovah, ka izany no ampianarany ny mpanota ny lalana.

9 Mitarika ny mpandefitra amin'ny marina Izy, ary mampianatra ny mpandefitra ny lalany.

10 Ny lalan'i Jehovah rehetra dia famindram-po sy fahamarinana amin'izay mitandrina ny fanekeny sy ny teni-vavolombelony.

11 Noho ny anaranao, Jehovah ô, dia mamelà ny heloko, fa lehibe izany.

12 Iza no lehilahy matahotra an'i Jehovah? Izy no hampianariny izay lalana tokony hofidiny.

13 Ny fanahiny hitoetra amin'ny soa; ary ny taranany handova ny tany.

14 Ny fisainan'i Jehovah asehony amin'izay matahotra Azy, ary ny fanekeny no hampahafantariny azy.

15 Ny masoko mijery an'i Jehovah mandrakariva; fa Izy no nanafaka ny tongotro tamin'ny fandrika harato.

16 Todiho aho, ka amindrao fo, fa irery aho ka mahantra.

17 Ny fahorian'ny foko efa mihalehibe; afaho amin'ny fahatereko aho.

18 Jereo ny fahoriako sy ny mavesatra amiko, ka mamelà ny fahotako rehetra.

19 Jereo ny fahavaloko, fa maro izy; ary loza ny fankahalàny ahy.

20 Arovy ny fanahiko, ka vonjeo aho; aoka tsy ho menatra aho, fa mialoka aminao.

21 Aoka ny tsi-fisian-tsiny sy ny fahitsiana no hiaro ahy; fa miandry Anao aho.

22 Andriamanitra ô, afaho ny Isiraely, amin'ny fahoriany rehetra.

Psalm 25

1 To you, Yahweh, do I lift up my soul.
2 My God, I have trusted in you.
Don’t let me be shamed.
Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3 Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed.
They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
For you are the God of my salvation,
I wait for you all day long.
6 Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
7 Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.
8 Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9 He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way.
10 All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth
to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name’s sake, Yahweh,
pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12 What man is he who fears Yahweh?
He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13 His soul shall dwell at ease.
His seed shall inherit the land.
14 The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him.
He will show them his covenant.
15 My eyes are ever on Yahweh,
for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me,
for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
18 Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
22 Redeem Israel, God,
out all of his troubles.

Chapitre 25
1 De David. Éternel! j'élève à toi mon âme.

2 Mon Dieu! en toi je me confie: que je ne sois pas couvert de honte! Que mes ennemis ne se réjouissent pas à mon sujet!

3 Tous ceux qui espèrent en toi ne seront point confondus; Ceux-là seront confondus qui sont infidèles sans cause.

4 Éternel! fais-moi connaître tes voies, Enseigne-moi tes sentiers.

5 Conduis-moi dans ta vérité, et instruis-moi; Car tu es le Dieu de mon salut, Tu es toujours mon espérance.

6 Éternel! souviens-toi de ta miséricorde et de ta bonté; Car elles sont éternelles.

7 Ne te souviens pas des fautes de ma jeunesse ni de mes transgressions; Souviens-toi de moi selon ta miséricorde, A cause de ta bonté, ô Éternel! 8 L'Éternel est bon et droit: C'est pourquoi il montre aux pécheurs la voie.

9 Il conduit les humbles dans la justice, Il enseigne aux humbles sa voie.

10 Tous les sentiers de l'Éternel sont miséricorde et fidélité, Pour ceux qui gardent son alliance et ses commandements.

11 C'est à cause de ton nom, ô Éternel! Que tu pardonneras mon iniquité, car elle est grande.

12 Quel est l'homme qui craint l'Éternel? L'Éternel lui montre la voie qu'il doit choisir.

13 Son âme reposera dans le bonheur, Et sa postérité possédera le pays.

14 L'amitié de l'Éternel est pour ceux qui le craignent, Et son alliance leur donne instruction. 15 Je tourne constamment les yeux vers l'Éternel, Car il fera sortir mes pieds du filet.

16 Regarde-moi et aie pitié de moi, Car je suis abandonné et malheureux.

17 Les angoisses de mon coeur augmentent; Tire-moi de ma détresse.

18 Vois ma misère et ma peine, Et pardonne tous mes péchés.

19 Vois combien mes ennemis sont nombreux, Et de quelle haine violente ils me poursuivent.

20 Garde mon âme et sauve-moi! Que je ne sois pas confus, Quand je cherche auprès de toi mon refuge!

21 Que l'innocence et la droiture me protègent, Quand je mets en toi mon espérance! 22 O Dieu! délivre Israël De toutes ses détresses!
