Chapitre 3

1 [Fampitahana an'i Kristy sy Mosesy] Koa amin'izany, ry rahalahy masina, mpiombona ny fiantsoana avy any an-danitra, hevero ny Apostoly sy Mpisoronabe Izay ekentsika, dia Jesosy,

2 Izay mahatoky ny nanendry Ary, tahaka an'i Mosesy koa tao amin'ny tranon'Andriamanitra rehetra*. [Izahao Nom. 12. 7]

3 Fa Izy dia natao miendrika hanam-boninahitra noho Mosesy, araka ny ananan'ny mpanao trano voninahitra bebe kokoa noho ny trano nataony.

4 Fa ny trano rehetra dia samy nisy mpanao azy; fa Izay nanao ny zavatra rehetra kosa dia Andriamanitra.

5 Ary Mosesy dia mpanompo nahatoky tao amin'ny tranon'Andriamanitra rehetra, ho fanambarana izay zavatra mbola holazaina;

6 fa Kristy kosa dia Zanaka manapaka ny tranon'Andriamanitra; ary isika no tranony, raha hazonintsika mafy hatramin'ny farany ny fahasahiana sy ny firavoravoana momba ny fanantenana.

7 Koa araka izay lazain'ny Fanahy Masina hoe: "Anio, raha hihaino ny feony ianareo,

8 Aza manamafy ny fonareo tahaka ny tamin'ny fahasosorana, tamin'ny andro fakam-panahy tany an-efitra,

9 Izay nakan'ny razanareo fanahy Ahy tamin'ny nizahany toetra Ahy, Ary nahita ny asako efa-polo taona izy.

10 Koa tezitra tamin'izany taranaka izany Aho Ka nanao hoe: Ireo dia maniasia amin'ny fony mandrakariva Ka tsy nahalala ny lalako;

11 Ary araka izany no nianianako tamin'ny fahatezerako hoe: Tsy hiditra amin'ny fitsaharako mihitsy izy" (Sal. 95.7-11).

12 Tandremo, ry rahalahy, fandrao hisy aminareo hanana fo ratsy tsy mino ka hiala amin'Andriamanitra velona;

13 fa mifananara isan'andro, raha mbola atao hoe "Anio"; fandrao hisy aminareo ho tonga mafy fo noho ny famitahan'ny ota.

14 Fa efa tonga mpiombona amin'i Kristy isika, raha mihazona mafy ny fiandohan'ny fahatokiantsika hatramin'ny farany;

15 raha atao hoe: "Anio, raha hihaino ny feony ianareo, Aza manamafy ny fonareo tahaka ny tamin'ny fahasosorana." (Sal. 95 7, 8).

19 Ka dia hitantsika fa tsy nahazo niditra izy ireo noho ny tsi-finoany.

Chapitre 3

3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus; 3:2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house. 3:3 For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house. 3:4 For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God. 3:5 Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken, 3:6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end. 3:7 Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says,

“Today if you will hear his voice,
3:8 don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion,
like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
3:9 where your fathers tested me by proving me,
and saw my works for forty years.
3:10 Therefore I was displeased with that generation,
and said, ‘They always err in their heart,
but they didn’t know my ways;’
3:11 as I swore in my wrath,
‘They will not enter into my rest.’”*
3:12 Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; 3:13 but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 3:14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end: 3:15 while it is said,

“Today if you will hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”*
3:16 For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn’t all those who came out of Egypt by Moses? 3:17 With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 3:18 To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 3:19 We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.

Chapitre 3
1 C'est pourquoi, frères saints, qui avez part à la vocation céleste, considérez l'apôtre et le souverain sacrificateur de la foi que nous professons, 2 Jésus, qui a été fidèle à celui qui l'a établi, comme le fut Moïse dans toute sa maison. 3 Car il a été jugé digne d'une gloire d'autant supérieure à celle de Moïse que celui qui a construit une maison a plus d'honneur que la maison même. 4 Chaque maison est construite par quelqu'un, mais celui qui a construit toutes choses, c'est Dieu. 5 Pour Moïse, il a été fidèle dans toute la maison de Dieu, comme serviteur, pour rendre témoignage de ce qui devait être annoncé; 6 mais Christ l'est comme Fils sur sa maison; et sa maison, c'est nous, pourvu que nous retenions jusqu'à la fin la ferme confiance et l'espérance dont nous nous glorifions. 7 C'est pourquoi, selon ce que dit le Saint-Esprit: Aujourd'hui, si vous entendez sa voix, 8 N'endurcissez pas vos coeurs, comme lors de la révolte, Le jour de la tentation dans le désert, 9 Où vos pères me tentèrent Pour m'éprouver, et ils virent mes oeuvres Pendant quarante ans. 10 Aussi je fus irrité contre cette génération, et je dis: Ils ont toujours un coeur qui s'égare. Ils n'ont pas connu mes voies. 11 Je jurai donc dans ma colère: Ils n'entreront pas dans mon repos! 12 Prenez garde, frères, que quelqu'un de vous n'ait un coeur mauvais et incrédule, au point de se détourner du Dieu vivant. 13 Mais exhortez-vous les uns les autres chaque jour, aussi longtemps qu'on peut dire: Aujourd'hui! afin qu'aucun de vous ne s'endurcisse par la séduction du péché. 14 Car nous sommes devenus participants de Christ, pourvu que nous retenions fermement jusqu'à la fin l'assurance que nous avions au commencement, 15 pendant qu'il est dit: Aujourd'hui, si vous entendez sa voix, N'endurcissez pas vos coeurs, comme lors de la révolte. 16 Qui furent, en effet, ceux qui se révoltèrent après l'avoir entendue, sinon tous ceux qui étaient sortis d'Égypte sous la conduite de Moïse? 17 Et contre qui Dieu fut-il irrité pendant quarante ans, sinon contre ceux qui péchaient, et dont les cadavres tombèrent dans le désert? 18 Et à qui jura-t-il qu'ils n'entreraient pas dans son repos, sinon à ceux qui avaient désobéi? 19 Aussi voyons-nous qu'ils ne purent y entrer à cause de leur incrédulité.
