21 Dia holazainao aminy hoe: Andevon'i Farao tany Egypta isika, ary tanana mahery no nitondran'i Jehovah antsika nivoaka avy tany Egypta. 22 Ary Jehovah nanao famantarana sy fahagagana lehibe sady mandoza tamin'ny Egyptiana sy Farao ary ny ankohonany teo imasontsika. 23 Ary nitondra antsika nivoaka avy tany Izy hampidirany antsika mba homeny antsika ny tany izay nianianany tamin'ny razantsika homena azy. 24 Ary Jehovah nandidy antsika hanaraka ireo didy rehetra ireo sy hatahotra an'i Jehovah Andriamanitsika, mba hahita soa mandrakariva isika sy ho velona tahaka ny amin'izao anio izao. 25 Ary ho fahamarinantsika ny mitandrina hanaraka izany didy rehetra izany eo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitsika, araka izay efa nandidiany antsika. | | Chapitre 6 6:1 Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it; 6:2 that you might fear Yahweh your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged. 6:3 Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. 6:4 Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God; Yahweh is one: 6:5 and you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6:6 These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; 6:7 and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 6:8 You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes. 6:9 You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates. 6:10 It shall be, when Yahweh your God shall bring you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities, which you didn’t build, 6:11 and houses full of all good things, which you didn’t fill, and cisterns dug out, which you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive trees, which you didn’t plant, and you shall eat and be full; 6:12 then beware lest you forget Yahweh, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 6:13 You shall fear Yahweh your God; and you shall serve him, and shall swear by his name. 6:14 You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who are around you; 6:15 for Yahweh your God in the midst of you is a jealous God; lest the anger of Yahweh your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth. 6:16 You shall not tempt Yahweh your God, as you tempted him in Massah. 6:17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you. 6:18 You shall do that which is right and good in the sight of Yahweh; that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, 6:19 to thrust out all your enemies from before you, as Yahweh has spoken. 6:20 When your son asks you in time to come, saying, “What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh our God has commanded you mean?” 6:21 then you shall tell your son, “We were Pharaoh’s bondservants in Egypt: and Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand; 6:22 and Yahweh showed great and awesome signs and wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes; 6:23 and he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers. 6:24 Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as at this day. 6:25 It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all this commandment before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.” | | Chapitre 6
1 Voici les commandements, les lois et les ordonnances que l'Éternel, votre Dieu, a commandé de vous enseigner, afin que vous les mettiez en pratique dans le pays dont vous allez prendre possession; 2 afin que tu craignes l'Éternel, ton Dieu, en observant, tous les jours de ta vie, toi, ton fils, et le fils de ton fils, toutes ses lois et tous ses commandements que je te prescris, et afin que tes jours soient prolongés. 3 Tu les écouteras donc, Israël, et tu auras soin de les mettre en pratique, afin que tu sois heureux et que vous multipliiez beaucoup, comme te l'a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères, en te promettant un pays où coulent le lait et le miel. 4 Écoute, Israël! l'Éternel, notre Dieu, est le seul Éternel. 5 Tu aimeras l'Éternel, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme et de toute ta force. 6 Et ces commandements, que je te donne aujourd'hui, seront dans ton coeur. 7 Tu les inculqueras à tes enfants, et tu en parleras quand tu seras dans ta maison, quand tu iras en voyage, quand tu te coucheras et quand tu te lèveras. 8 Tu les lieras comme un signe sur tes mains, et ils seront comme des fronteaux entre tes yeux. 9 Tu les écriras sur les poteaux de ta maison et sur tes portes. 10 L'Éternel, ton Dieu, te fera entrer dans le pays qu'il a juré à tes pères, à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, de te donner. Tu posséderas de grandes et bonnes villes que tu n'as point bâties, 11 des maisons qui sont pleines de toutes sortes de biens et que tu n'as point remplies, des citernes creusées que tu n'as point creusées, des vignes et des oliviers que tu n'as point plantés. (6:12) Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, 12 garde-toi d'oublier l'Éternel, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude. 13 Tu craindras l'Éternel, ton Dieu, tu le serviras, et tu jureras par son nom. 14 Vous n'irez point après d'autres dieux, d'entre les dieux des peuples qui sont autour de vous; 15 car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, est un Dieu jaloux au milieu de toi. La colère de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, s'enflammerait contre toi, et il t'exterminerait de dessus la terre. 16 Vous ne tenterez point l'Éternel, votre Dieu, comme vous l'avez tenté à Massa. 17 Mais vous observerez les commandements de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, ses ordonnances et ses lois qu'il vous a prescrites. 18 Tu feras ce qui est droit et ce qui est bien aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin que tu sois heureux, et que tu entres en possession du bon pays que l'Éternel a juré à tes pères de te donner, 19 après qu'il aura chassé tous tes ennemis devant toi, comme l'Éternel l'a dit. 20 Lorsque ton fils te demandera un jour: Que signifient ces préceptes, ces lois et ces ordonnances, que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, vous a prescrits? 21 tu diras à ton fils: Nous étions esclaves de Pharaon en Égypte, et l'Éternel nous a fait sortir de l'Égypte par sa main puissante. 22 L'Éternel a opéré, sous nos yeux, des miracles et des prodiges, grands et désastreux, contre l'Égypte, contre Pharaon et contre toute sa maison; 23 et il nous a fait sortir de là, pour nous amener dans le pays qu'il avait juré à nos pères de nous donner. 24 L'Éternel nous a commandé de mettre en pratique toutes ces lois, et de craindre l'Éternel, notre Dieu, afin que nous fussions toujours heureux, et qu'il nous conservât la vie, comme il le fait aujourd'hui. 25 Nous aurons la justice en partage, si nous mettons soigneusement en pratique tous ces commandements devant l'Éternel, notre Dieu, comme il nous l'a ordonné. | |
