Chapitre 22

2 Ary raha tsy akaiky anao, na tsy fantatrao, ny rahalahinao, dia ento mody any aminao ilay nania, ary aoka hitoetra aminao mandra-pitadin'ny rahalahinao azy, dia haverinao any aminy.

3 Ary toy izany koa no hataonao amin'ny borikiny, na ny fitafiany, na ny zavatry ny rahalahinao, na inona na inona izay very ka hitanao; fa aza atao tsy ho raharahanao izany.

4 Ary raha hitanao ny borikin'ny rahalahinao, na ny ombiny, potraka any an-dalana, dia aza atao tsy ho raharahanao izany; fa manampia ny rahalahinao hanarina azy.

6 Raha sendra mahita akanim-borona eo anoloanao eny an-dalana ianao, na amin'ny efa foy, na mbola atodiny, ary ny reniny manomba ny efa foy, na mikotrika ny atodiny, dia aza maka ny reniny mbamin'ny zanany.

7 Alefaso mihitsy ny reniny, fa ny zanany ihany no alao ho anao, mba hahita soa ianao ka ho maro andro.

8 Raha manao trano vaovao ianao, dia asio aro-fanina ny tampony, fandrao hisy olona hianjera eny, ka hahatonga heloka ny amin'ny rà ho ao an-tranonao ianao.

9 Aza fafazana voan-javatra roa karazana mifangaroharo ny taninao, fandrao samy ho lasa ho sazy ny vokatry ny voan-javatra nafafinao sy ny vokatry ny tanim-boalobokao.

10 Aza mampikambana omby sy boriky hiasa tany.

11 Aza mitafy lamba volon'ondry sy rongony mifamahofaho.

12 Asio somotraviaviny ny zorony efatra amin'ny lambanao izay itafianao.

13 [Didy ny amin'ny fanamasinana ny fanambadiana] Raha misy lehilahy mampaka-bady ary mandry aminy, ka tsy tiany indray ravehivavy,

14 dia haratsiny sy alàny baraka ka ataony hoe: Efa nampakatra ity vehivavy ity aho, nefa raha nandry taminy, dia tsy hitako ny famantarana azy ho virijina:

15 dia halain'ny ray aman-drenin-drazazavavy ny famantarana azy ho virijina ka ho entiny ho eo amin'ny loholona amin'ny tanàna eo am-bavahady.

16 Dia hiteny amin'ny loholona ny rain-drazazavavy hoe: Ny zanako-vavy nomeko ho vadin'io lehilahy io, kanefa tsy tiany indray izy;

17 ary indro fa efa noharatsiny izy ka nataony hoe: Tsy hitako ny famantarana ny zanakao-vavy ho virijina; kanefa indreto ny famantarana ny zanakao-vavy ho virijina. Dia hamelatra ny lamba eo anatrehan'ny loholona amin'ny tanàna izy mivady.

18 Ary halain'ny loholona amin'ny tanàna izany lehilahy izany ka hofaizany.

19 Dia hosaziny sekely volafotsy zato koa izy, ka homeny ny rain-drazazavavy izany, satria nahafa-baraka ny virijina anankiray tamin'ny Isiraely ralehilahy; nefa dia ho vadiny ihany razazavavy ka tsy azony hisaorana amin'ny andro rehetra hiainany.

20 Fa raha marina kosa izany lazainy izany, ka tsy hita ny famantarana an-drazazavavy ho virijina,

21 dia ho entiny mivoaka ho eo anoloan'ny varavaran'ny tranon-drainy razazavavy ka hotorahan'ny mponina amin'ny tanànany vato ho faty, satria nanao izay fady indrindra teo amin'ny Isiraely izy ka nijangajanga tao an-tranon-drainy; ka dia hofongoranao tsy ho eo aminao ny fanao ratsy.

22 Raha misy lehilahy azo mandry amim-behivavy vadin'olona, dia samy hatao maty izy roroa, na ralehilahy izay nandry tamin-dravehivavy, na ravehivavy koa; ka dia hofongoranao tsy ho eo amin'ny Isiraely ny fanao ratsy.

23 Raha misy zazavavy virijina voafofo ho vadin'olona, ary misy lehilahy mahita azy eo an-tanàna ka mandry aminy,

24 dia ho entinareo mivoaka ho eo amin'ny vavahadin'izany tanàna izany izy roroa ka hotorahanareo vato ho faty: razazavavy moa, satria tsy niantso, nefa tao an-tanàna ihany; ary ralehilahy koa, satria nandry tamin'ny vadin'ny namany; ka dia hofongoranao tsy ho eo aminao ny fanao ratsy.

25 Fa raha any an-tsaha kosa no ahitan-dralehilahy an-drazazavavy voafofo ho vadin'olona, ary misavika azy ralehilahy ka mandry aminy, dia ralehilahy izay nandry taminy ihany no hatao maty.

26 Fa ravehivavy dia tsy hasianao na inona na inona; fa tsy misy ota tokony hahafaty azy; fa tahaka ny olona mitsangana hamely ny namany ka mahafaty azy no hevitr'izany zavatra izany.

27 Fa tany an-tsaha no nahitany azy; ary niantso ihany razazavavy voafofo ho vadin'olona, nefa tsy nisy hamonjy azy.

28 Raha misy lehilahy mahita zazavavy virijina, izay tsy voafofo ho vadin'olona, ka misavika azy sady mandry aminy, koa hita izy roroa,

29 dia hanome sekely volafotsy dimam-polo ho an'ny rain-drazazavavy ralehilahy izay nandry taminy; ary hovadiny izy, satria efa nosavihiny sady nandriany; ary tsy azony hisaorana izy amin'ny andro rehetra hiainany.

22:1 You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely bring them again to your brother. 22:2 If your brother isn’t near to you, or if you don’t know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him. 22:3 So you shall do with his donkey; and so you shall do with his garment; and so you shall do with every lost thing of your brother’s, which he has lost, and you have found: you may not hide yourself. 22:4 You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again. 22:5 A woman shall not wear men’s clothing, neither shall a man put on women’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God. 22:6 If a bird’s nest chance to be before you in the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the hen sitting on the young, or on the eggs, you shall not take the hen with the young: 22:7 you shall surely let the hen go, but the young you may take to yourself; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days. 22:8 When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your roof, that you don’t bring blood on your house, if any man fall from there. 22:9 You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole fruit be forfeited, the seed which you have sown, and the increase of the vineyard. 22:10 You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. 22:11 You shall not wear a mixed stuff, wool and linen together. 22:12 You shall make yourselves fringes on the four borders of your cloak, with which you cover yourself.

22:13 If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and hates her, 22:14 and accuses her of shameful things, and brings up an evil name on her, and says, “I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I didn’t find in her the tokens of virginity”; 22:15 then shall the father of the young lady, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the young lady’s virginity to the elders of the city in the gate; 22:16 and the young lady’s father shall tell the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he hates her; 22:17 and behold, he has accused her of shameful things, saying, ‘I didn’t find in your daughter the tokens of virginity;’ and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity.” They shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 22:18 The elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him; 22:19 and they shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has brought up an evil name on a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

22:20 But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young lady; 22:21 then they shall bring out the young lady to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done folly in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father’s house: so you shall put away the evil from the midst of you. 22:22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman: so you shall put away the evil from Israel. 22:23 If there is a young lady who is a virgin pledged to be married to a husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 22:24 then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones; the lady, because she didn’t cry, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor’s wife: so you shall put away the evil from the midst of you. 22:25 But if the man find the lady who is pledged to be married in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her; then the man only who lay with her shall die: 22:26 but to the lady you shall do nothing; there is in the lady no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbor, and kills him, even so is this matter; 22:27 for he found her in the field, the pledged to be married lady cried, and there was none to save her. 22:28 If a man find a lady who is a virgin, who is not pledged to be married, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 22:29 then the man who lay with her shall give to the lady’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has humbled her; he may not put her away all his days. 22:30 A man shall not take his father’s wife, and shall not uncover his father’s skirt.

Chapitre 22
1 Si tu vois s'égarer le boeuf ou la brebis de ton frère, tu ne t'en détourneras point, tu les ramèneras à ton frère. 2 Si ton frère n'habite pas près de toi, et que tu ne le connaisses pas, tu recueilleras l'animal dans ta maison et il restera chez toi jusqu'à ce que ton frère le réclame; et alors tu le lui rendras. 3 Tu feras de même pour son âne, tu feras de même pour son vêtement, tu feras de même pour tout objet qu'il aurait perdu et que tu trouverais; tu ne devras point t'en détourner. 4 Si tu vois l'âne de ton frère ou son boeuf tombé dans le chemin, tu ne t'en détourneras point, tu l'aideras à le relever. 5 Une femme ne portera point un habillement d'homme, et un homme ne mettra point des vêtements de femme; car quiconque fait ces choses est en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu. 6 Si tu rencontres dans ton chemin un nid d'oiseau, sur un arbre ou sur la terre, avec des petits ou des oeufs, et la mère couchée sur les petits ou sur les oeufs, tu ne prendras pas la mère et les petits, 7 tu laisseras aller la mère et tu ne prendras que les petits, afin que tu sois heureux et que tu prolonges tes jours. 8 Si tu bâtis une maison neuve, tu feras une balustrade autour de ton toit, afin de ne pas mettre du sang sur ta maison, dans le cas où il en tomberait quelqu'un. 9 Tu ne sèmeras point dans ta vigne diverses semences, de peur que tu ne jouisses ni du produit de ce que tu auras semé ni du produit de la vigne. 10 Tu ne laboureras point avec un boeuf et un âne attelés ensemble. 11 Tu ne porteras point un vêtement tissé de diverses espèces de fils, de laine et de lin réunis ensemble. 12 Tu mettras des franges aux quatre coins du vêtement dont tu te couvriras. 13 Si un homme, qui a pris une femme et est allé vers elle, éprouve ensuite de l'aversion pour sa personne, 14 s'il lui impute des choses criminelles et porte atteinte à sa réputation, en disant: J'ai pris cette femme, je me suis approché d'elle, et je ne l'ai pas trouvée vierge, - 15 alors le père et la mère de la jeune femme prendront les signes de sa virginité et les produiront devant les anciens de la ville, à la porte. 16 Le père de la jeune femme dira aux anciens: J'ai donné ma fille pour femme à cet homme, et il l'a prise en aversion; 17 il lui impute des choses criminelles, en disant: Je n'ai pas trouvé ta fille vierge. Or voici les signes de virginité de ma fille. Et ils déploieront son vêtement devant les anciens de la ville. 18 Les anciens de la ville saisiront alors cet homme et le châtieront; 19 et, parce qu'il a porté atteinte à la réputation d'une vierge d'Israël, ils le condamneront à une amende de cent sicles d'argent, qu'ils donneront au père de la jeune femme. Elle restera sa femme, et il ne pourra pas la renvoyer, tant qu'il vivra. 20 Mais si le fait est vrai, si la jeune femme ne s'est point trouvée vierge, 21 on fera sortir la jeune femme à l'entrée de la maison de son père; elle sera lapidée par les gens de la ville, et elle mourra, parce qu'elle a commis une infamie en Israël, en se prostituant dans la maison de son père. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi. 22 Si l'on trouve un homme couché avec une femme mariée, ils mourront tous deux, l'homme qui a couché avec la femme, et la femme aussi. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu d'Israël. 23 Si une jeune fille vierge est fiancée, et qu'un homme la rencontre dans la ville et couche avec elle, 24 vous les amènerez tous deux à la porte de la ville, vous les lapiderez, et ils mourront, la jeune fille pour n'avoir pas crié dans la ville, et l'homme pour avoir déshonoré la femme de son prochain. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi. 25 Mais si c'est dans les champs que cet homme rencontre la jeune femme fiancée, lui fait violence et couche avec elle, l'homme qui aura couché avec elle sera seul puni de mort. 26 Tu ne feras rien à la jeune fille; elle n'est pas coupable d'un crime digne de mort, car il en est de ce cas comme de celui où un homme se jette sur son prochain et lui ôte la vie. 27 La jeune fille fiancée, que cet homme a rencontrée dans les champs, a pu crier sans qu'il y ait eu personne pour la secourir. 28 Si un homme rencontre une jeune fille vierge non fiancée, lui fait violence et couche avec elle, et qu'on vienne à les surprendre, 29 l'homme qui aura couché avec elle donnera au père de la jeune fille cinquante sicles d'argent; et, parce qu'il l'a déshonorée, il la prendra pour femme, et il ne pourra pas la renvoyer, tant qu'il vivra. 30 Nul ne prendra la femme de son père, et ne soulèvera la couverture de son père.
