Tompo ô, Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahatahotra, mitandrina ny fanekena sy ny famindram-po ho amin'izay tia Azy sy mitandrina ny didiny, 5 efa nanota izahay sady nanao meloka ary nanao ratsy sy niodina, eny, efa niala tamin'ny didinao sy ny fitsipikao izahay, 6 ary tsy nohenoinay ny mpaminany mpanomponao, izay niteny tamin'ny anaranao tamin'ny mpanjakanay sy ny mpanapaka anay sy ny razanay ary ny vahoaka rehetra. 7 Anao ny fahamarinana, Tompo ô, fa anay kosa ny fangaihaizana, tahaka ny amin'izao anio izao, dia an'ny Joda sy ny mponina any Jerosalema ary ny Isiraely rehetra, na ny akaiky na ny lavitra, dia any amin'ny tany rehetra izay efa nandroahanao azy noho ny fahadisoany izay nandisoany taminao; 8 eny, anay ny fangaihaizana, Tompo ô, dia an'ny mpanjakanay sy ny mpanapaka anay ary ny razanay, satria efa nanota taminao izahay. 9 An'ny Tompo Andriamanitray kosa ny famindram-po sy ny famelan-keloka, satria efa niodina taminy izahay 10 ka tsy nihaino ny feon'i Jehovah Andriamanitray, mba handeha araka ny lalàny izay nasainy napetraky ny mpaminany mpanompony teo anoloanay. 11 Eny, ny Isiraely rehetra efa nandika ny lalànao ka niala, fa tsy nihaino ny feonao, ka dia naidina taminay ny ozona sy ny fianianana izay voasoratra ao amin'ny lalàn'i Mosesy, mpanompon'Andriamanitra, satria efa nanota taminy izahay. 12 Ary notanterahiny ny teniny, izay nolazainy hamelezana anay sy ny mpitsaranay izay nitsara anay, ka nataony niharan-doza lehibe izahay, fa tetỳ ambanin'ny lanitra rehetra dia tsy mbola nisy natao tahaka izay natao tany Jerosalema. 13 Araka ny voasoratra ao amin'ny lalàn'i Mosesy no nahatongavan'izao loza rehetra izao taminay; nefa tsy nifona teo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitray izahay hialanay amin'ny helokay sy hahafantaranay ny fahamarinanao. 14 Koa izany no nitehirizan'i Jehovah ny loza, ka nataony mihatra aminay, fa marina Jehovah Andriamanitray amin'ny asany rehetra izay efa nataony; fa izahay no tsy nihaino ny feony. 15 Koa ankehitriny, Tompo Andriamanitray ô, Izay nitondra ny olonao nivoaka avy tany amin'ny tany Egypta tamin'ny tanana mahery ka nanao anarana ho Anao tahaka ny amin'izao anio izao, efa nanota izahay, efa nanao ratsy izahay. 16 Tompo ô, mifona aminao aho, araka ny fahamarinanao rehetra, aoka re hionona ny fahatezeranao sy ny fahaviniranao amin'i Jerosalema tanànanao, tendrombohitrao masina, fa ny helokay sy ny fahotan'ny razanay no nahatonga an'i Jerosalema sy ny olonao ho latsa amin'izay rehetra manodidina anay. 17 Fa ankehitriny, ry Andriamanitray ô, henoy ny fivavaky ny mpanomponao sy ny fifonany, ary ampamirapirato ny tavanao amin'ny fitoeranao masina izay efa foana, satria Tompo Hianao. 18 Andriamanitra ô, atongilano ny sofinao, ka mihainoa; ahirato ny masonao, ka jereo ny fahafoananay sy ny tanàna izay nantsoina amin'ny anaranao; fa tsy amin'ny fahamarinanay no andoaranay ny fifonanay eto anatrehanao, fa amin'ny halehiben'ny indrafonao. 19 Tompo ô, mandrenesa, Tompo ô, mamelà heloka; Tompo ô, mihainoa, ka miasà; aza ela Hianao, ry Andriamanitro ô noho ny aminao; fa ny tanànanao sy ny olonao dia nantsoina amin'ny anaranao. 20 Ary raha mbola niteny sy nivavaka sy niaiky ny fahotako mbamin'ny fahotan'ny Isiraely fireneko aho ka nandoatra ny fifonako teo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitro ho an'ny tendrombohitra masin'Andriamanitro, 21 eny, raha mbola niteny nivavaka aho, dia, indro, ilay lehilahy Gabriela izay hitako tamin'ny fahitana voalohany, dia nampanidinina faingana ka nanatona ahy tokony ho tamin'ny fotoan'ny fanatitra hariva. 22 Ary izy nampahalala ahy sy niresaka tamiko ka nanao hoe: Ry Daniela ô, avy hampahazava saina anao aho. 23 Tamin'ny niantombohan'ny fivavakao dia nisy teny nivoaka, ka dia tonga hanambara aminao aho, satria malala indrindra ianao; koa diniho ny teny, ary aoka ho fantatrao ny fahitana. 24 Fito-polo herinandro no voatendry ho an'ny firenenao sy ny tanànanao masina, hahatapaka ny fahadisoana sy hanampina ny fahotana, ary hanao fanavotana noho ny heloka sy hampiditra fahamarinana mandrakizay, ary hanisy tombo-kase ny fahitana sy ny faminaniana sy hanosotra izay masina indrindra. 25 Koa aoka ho fantatrao sy ho azonao fa hatramin'ny hivoahan'ny didy hanavaozana sy hanamboarana an'i Jerosalema ka hatramin'i Mesia Andriana dia ho fito herinandro sy roa amby enim-polo herinandro; hamboarina indray ny lalana sy ny hady, dia amin'izay andro mampahory. 26 Ary rehefa afaka ny roa amby enim-polo herinandro, dia hovonoina ny Mesia ka tsy hanana; ary ny vahoaky ny mpanjaka izay ho avy dia handrava ny tanana sy ny fitoerana masina; ary ny farany dia hisy safotra, ary hatramin'ny farany dia hisy ady sy fandravana voatendry. 27 Ary hanorina fanekena ho herinandro amin'ny maro izy ary hampitsahatra ny fanatitra alatsa-drà sy ny fanatitra hafa hatramin'ny antsasaky ny herinandro, ary amin'ny elatry ny fahavetavetana no nihavian'ny mpandrava, hatramin'ny fahafonganana voatendry, izay haidina amin'ny mpandrava.
| | 1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans, 2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years whereof the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years. 3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 And I prayed unto Jehovah my God, and made confession, and said, Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from thy precepts and from thine ordinances; 6 neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, that spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him; 10 neither have we obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even turning aside, that they should not obey thy voice: therefore hath the curse been poured out upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God; for we have sinned against him. 12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil; for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet have we not entreated the favor of Jehovah our God, that we should turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in thy truth. 14 Therefore hath Jehovah watched over the evil, and brought it upon us; for Jehovah our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth, and we have not obeyed his voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, let thine anger and thy wrath, I pray thee, be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are round about us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hearken unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. 18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies' sake. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name. 20 And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before Jehovah my God for the holy mountain of my God; 21 yea, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he instructed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee wisdom and understanding. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment went forth, and I am come to tell thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. 25 Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the anointed one, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troublous times. 26 And after the threescore and two weeks shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and even unto the end shall be war; desolations are determined. 27 And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate.
| | 1 La première année de Darius, fils d’Assuérus, de la semence des Mèdes, qui fut fait roi sur le royaume des Chaldéens, 2 la première année de son règne, moi, Daniel, je compris par les livres que le nombre des années touchant lequel la parole de l’Éternel vint à Jérémie le prophète, pour l’accomplissement des désolations de Jérusalem, était de soixante-dix années. 3 Et je tournai ma face vers le Seigneur Dieu, pour [le] rechercher par la prière et la supplication, dans le jeûne, et le sac et la cendre. 4 Et je priai l’Éternel, mon Dieu, et je fis ma confession, et je dis : Je te supplie, Seigneur, le *Dieu grand et terrible, qui gardes l’alliance et la bonté envers ceux qui t’aiment et qui gardent tes commandements ! 5 Nous avons péché, nous avons commis l’iniquité, nous avons agi méchamment, et nous nous sommes rebellés et nous nous sommes détournés de tes commandements et de tes ordonnances ; 6 et nous n’avons pas écouté tes serviteurs les prophètes, qui parlaient en ton nom à nos rois, à nos princes, et à nos pères, et à tout le peuple du pays. 7 À toi, Seigneur, la justice, et à nous la confusion de face, comme [elle est] aujourd’hui, — aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem et à tout Israël, à ceux qui sont près et à ceux qui sont loin, dans tous les pays où tu les as chassés, à cause de leurs infidélités par lesquelles ils ont été infidèles envers toi. 8 Seigneur*, à nous la confusion de face, à nos rois, à nos princes, et à nos pères, parce que nous avons péché contre toi. 9 Au Seigneur notre Dieu sont les compassions et les pardons, car nous nous sommes rebellés contre lui, 10 et nous n’avons pas écouté la voix de l’Éternel, notre Dieu, pour marcher selon ses lois qu’il a mises devant nous par ses serviteurs les prophètes. 11 Et tout Israël a transgressé ta loi et s’est détourné en n’écoutant pas ta voix. Alors ont été versés sur nous l’exécration et le serment qui sont écrits dans la loi de Moïse, serviteur de Dieu, parce que nous avons péché contre lui ; 12 et il a accompli ses paroles qu’il a prononcées contre nous et contre nos juges qui nous jugeaient, en faisant venir sur nous un mal si grand que rien ne s’est fait sous tous les cieux comme ce qui a été fait à Jérusalem. 13 Selon qu’il est écrit dans la loi de Moïse, tout ce mal est venu sur nous ; et nous n’avons pas imploré l’Éternel, notre Dieu, afin de revenir de nos iniquités et de comprendre ta vérité. 14 Et l’Éternel a veillé sur le mal, et l’a fait venir sur nous ; car l’Éternel, notre Dieu, est juste dans toutes les œuvres qu’il a faites ; et nous n’avons pas écouté sa voix. — 15 Et maintenant, Seigneur, notre Dieu, toi qui as fait sortir ton peuple du pays d’Égypte à main forte, et qui t’es fait un nom, comme [il paraît] aujourd’hui : nous avons péché, nous avons agi méchamment ! 16 Seigneur, selon toutes tes justices, que ta colère et ta fureur se détournent, je te prie, de ta ville de Jérusalem, ta sainte montagne. Car à cause de nos péchés, et à cause des iniquités de nos pères, Jérusalem et ton peuple sont en opprobre à tous ceux qui nous entourent. 17 Et maintenant, écoute, ô notre Dieu, la prière de ton serviteur et ses supplications, et, pour l’amour du Seigneur, fais luire ta face sur ton sanctuaire désolé. 18 Incline ton oreille, ô mon Dieu, et écoute ; ouvre tes yeux, et vois nos désolations, et la ville qui est appelée de ton nom. Car ce n’est pas à cause de nos justices que nous présentons devant toi nos supplications, mais à cause de tes grandes compassions. 19 Seigneur, écoute ; Seigneur, pardonne ; Seigneur, sois attentif et agis ; ne tarde pas, à cause de toi-même, mon Dieu ; car ta ville et ton peuple sont appelés de ton nom. 20 Et je parlais encore, et je priais et confessais mon péché et le péché de mon peuple Israël, et je présentais ma supplication devant l’Éternel, mon Dieu, pour la sainte montagne de mon Dieu, — 21 je parlais encore en priant, et l’homme Gabriel que j’avais vu dans la vision au commencement, volant avec rapidité, me toucha vers le temps de l’offrande de gâteau du soir. 22 Et il me fit comprendre, et me parla, et dit : Daniel, je suis maintenant sorti pour éclairer ton intelligence. 23 Au commencement de tes supplications la parole est sortie, et je suis venu pour [te la] déclarer, car tu es un bien-aimé. Comprends donc la parole, et sois intelligent dans la vision : 24 Soixante-dix semaines ont été déterminées sur ton peuple et sur ta sainte ville, pour clore la transgression, et pour en finir avec les péchés, et pour faire propitiation pour l’iniquité, et pour introduire la justice des siècles, et pour sceller la vision et le prophète, et pour oindre le saint des saints. 25 Et sache, et comprends : Depuis la sortie de la parole pour rétablir et rebâtir Jérusalem, jusqu’au Messie, [le] prince, il y a sept semaines et soixante-deux semaines ; la place et le fossé seront rebâtis, et [cela] en des temps de trouble. 26 Et après les soixante-deux semaines, [le] Messie sera retranché et n’aura rien ; et le peuple du prince qui viendra, détruira la ville et le lieu saint, et la fin en sera avec débordement ; et jusqu’à la fin [il y aura] guerre, un décret de désolations. 27 Et il confirmera une alliance avec la multitude [pour] une semaine ; et au milieu de la semaine il fera cesser le sacrifice et l’offrande ; et à cause de la protection des abominations [il y aura] un désolateur, et jusqu’à ce que la consomption et [ce qui est] décrété soient versés sur la désolée.
