Chapitre 2

2 Fantatro ny asanao sy ny fikelezanao aina sy ny faharetanao ary ny tsi-fahazakanao izay mpanao ratsy; ary ianao efa nizaha toetra izay milaza ny tenany ho Apostoly, kanjo tsy izy, ary hitanao fa mpandainga izy;

3 ary manana faharetana ianao ka niaritra noho ny anarako sady tsy reraka.

4 Kanefa manan-teny aminao Aho, satria efa niala tamin'ny fitiavanao voalohany ianao.

5 Koa tsarovy izay nitoeranao fony tsy mbola lavo, dia mibebaha, ka manaova ny asa voalohany; fa raha tsy izany, dia ho avy aminao Aho ka hamindra ny fanaovan-jironao hiala amin'ny fitoerany, raha tsy mibebaka ianao.

6 Kanefa izao no toetranao:* halanao ny asan'ny Nikolaita, izay halako koa.

7 Izay manan-tsofina, aoka izy hihaino izay lazain'ny Fanahy amin'ny fiangonana*. Izay maharesy dia havelako hihinana ny avy amin'ny hazon'aina, izay eo amin'ny Paradisan'Andriamanitra.

8 Ary soraty ho amin'ny anjelin'ny fiangonana* any Smyrna: Izao no lazain'ny Voalohany sy ny Farany, Izay efa maty, nefa velona indray:

9 Fantatro ny fahorianao sy ny fahantranao (nefa manan-karena ianao), ary ny fitenenan-dratsy* ataon'izay milaza ny tenany ho Jiosy, kanjo tsy izy, fa synagogan'i Satana. [* Gr. blasfemia; izahao Mat. 9, 3)

10 Aza matahotra izay efa hiaretanao; indro, ny devoly efa hanao ny sasany aminareo ao an-tranomaizina, mba ho voazaha toetra ianareo, ary hanam-pahoriana hafoloana. Aoka ho mahatoky hatramin'ny fahafatesana ianao, dia homeko anao ny satro-boninahitra fiainana.

11 Izay manan-tsofina, aoka izy hihaino izay lazain'ny Fanahy amin'ny fiangonana*. Izay maharesy dia tsy hosimban'ny fahafatesana faharoa.

12 Ary soraty ho amin'ny anjelin'ny fiangonana* any Pergamosy: Izao no lazain'ilay manana ny sabatra roa lela maranitra:

13 Fantatro izay onenanao, dia ao amin'ny itoeran'ny seza fiandrianan'i Satana; ary mitàna mafy ny anarako ianao ka tsy nandà ny finoana Ahy, na dia tamin'ny andron'i Antipasy martiorako aza, izay lehilahy nahatoky Ahy, dia ilay novonoina teo aminareo, teo amin'izay onenan'i Satana.

14 Kanefa manan-teny kely aminao Aho, fa misy eo aminao izay mitàna ny fampianaran'i Balama, ilay nanome fo an'i Balaka hanisy fahatafintohinana teo anoloan'ny Zanak'isiraely, hihinana hena naterina tamin'ny sampy sy hijangajanga.

15 Ary toy izany koa, misy eo aminao izay mitàna ny fampianaran'ny Nikolaita tahaka ny an'ireny.

16 Koa dia mibebaha; fa raha tsy izany, dia ho avy aminao faingana Aho ka hamely ireo amin'ny sabatry ny vavako.

17 Izay manan-tsofina, aoka izy hihaino izay lazain'ny Fanahy amin'ny fiangonana*. Izay maharesy dia homeko mana miafina sady homeko vato fotsy, ary eo amin'ny vato dia misy anaram-baovao voasoratra, izay tsy fantatr'olona afa-tsy izay mandray azy ihany.

18 Ary soraty ho amin'ny anjelin'ny fiangonana* any Tyatira: Izao no lazain'ny Zanak'Andriamanitra, Izay manana maso toy ny lelafo, ary ny tongony tahaka ny varahina manganohano:

19 Fantatro ny asanao sy ny fitiavanao sy ny finoanao sy ny fanompoanao ary ny faharetanao, ary ny asanao farany dia be noho ny voalohany.

20 Kanefa manan-teny aminao Aho, satria ianao mandefitra amin'ilay vehivavy Jezebela, izay milaza ny tenany ho mpaminanivavy ka mampianatra sady manoloky ny mpanompoko hijangajanga sy hihinana hena naterina tamin'ny sampy.

21 Ary nomeko andro hibebahany izy, nefa tsy mety mibebaka amin'ny fijangajangany izy.

22 Indro, hampandamahiko eo am-pandriana izy, ary izay mijangajanga aminy dia hataoko ao amin'ny fahoriana lehibe, raha tsy hibebaka amin'ny asan-dravehivavy izy.

23 Ary hovonoiko amin'ny fahafatesana ny zanany; ary ny fiangonana* rehetra hahalala fa Izaho no mandinika ny voa sy ny fo; ary homeko araka ny asanareo avy ianareo rehetra. 

24 Fa aminareo izay sisa any Tyatira, dia izay tsy manana izany fampianarana izany sady tsy mba mahalala ny ataon'ireo hoe "sain-dalin'i Satana", dia izao no lazaiko: tsy hovesarako entana hafa ianareo;

25 kanefa izay anananareo dia tano mafy mandra-pihaviko.

26 Ary izay maharesy ka mitandrina ny asako hatramin'ny farany dia homeko fahefana amin'ny jentilisa;

27 ary hiandry azy amin'ny tehim-by izy ka hanorotoro azy toy ny fanorotoro vilany tany, dia araka izay efa noraisiko tamin'ny Raiko.

28 Ary homeko azy ny kintana fitarika andro.

29 Izay manan-tsofina, aoka izy hihaino izay lazain'ny Fanahy amin'ny fiangonana*. [* Gr. eklesia]

Chapiter 2

1 “To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write:

“He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things:

2 “I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can’t tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.

3 You have perseverance and have endured for my name’s sake, and have* not grown weary.

4 But I have this against you, that you left your first love.

 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.

6 But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

 8 “To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write:

“The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:

9 “I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

 10 Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.

12 “To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: “He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:

13 “I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

15 So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise*.

16 Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.

18 “To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write:

“The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:

19 “I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate your woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.

22 Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.

23 I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

24 But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan,’ to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.

25 Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.

26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.

27 He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots;* as I also have received of my Father:

 28 and I will give him the morning star.

29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

Chapitre 2

1 Écris à l'ange de l'Église d'Éphèse: Voici ce que dit celui qui tient les sept étoiles dans sa main droite, celui qui marche au milieu des sept chandeliers d'or:

2 Je connais tes oeuvres, ton travail, et ta persévérance. Je sais que tu ne peux supporter les méchants; que tu as éprouvé ceux qui se disent apôtres et qui ne le sont pas, et que tu les as trouvés menteurs;

3 que tu as de la persévérance, que tu as souffert à cause de mon nom, et que tu ne t'es point lassé.

4 Mais ce que j'ai contre toi, c'est que tu as abandonné ton premier amour.

5 Souviens-toi donc d'où tu es tombé, repens-toi, et pratique tes premières oeuvres; sinon, je viendrai à toi, et j'ôterai ton chandelier de sa place, à moins que tu ne te repentes.

 6 Tu as pourtant ceci, c'est que tu hais les oeuvres des Nicolaïtes, oeuvres que je hais aussi.

7 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que l'Esprit dit aux Églises: A celui qui vaincra je donnerai à manger de l'arbre de vie, qui est dans le paradis de Dieu.

8 Écris à l'ange de l'Église de Smyrne: Voici ce que dit le premier et le dernier, celui qui était mort, et qui est revenu à la vie:

9 Je connais ta tribulation et ta pauvreté (bien que tu sois riche), et les calomnies de la part de ceux qui se disent Juifs et ne le sont pas, mais qui sont une synagogue de Satan.

10 Ne crains pas ce que tu vas souffrir. Voici, le diable jettera quelques-uns de vous en prison, afin que vous soyez éprouvés, et vous aurez une tribulation de dix jours. Sois fidèle jusqu'à la mort, et je te donnerai la couronne de vie.

 11 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que l'Esprit dit aux Églises: Celui qui vaincra n'aura pas à souffrir la seconde mort.

12 Écris à l'ange de l'Église de Pergame: Voici ce que dit celui qui a l'épée aiguë, à deux tranchants:

13 Je sais où tu demeures, je sais que là est le trône de Satan. Tu retiens mon nom, et tu n'as pas renié ma foi, même aux jours d'Antipas, mon témoin fidèle, qui a été mis à mort chez vous, là où Satan a sa demeure.

14 Mais j'ai quelque chose contre toi, c'est que tu as là des gens attachés à la doctrine de Balaam, qui enseignait à Balak à mettre une pierre d'achoppement devant les fils d'Israël, pour qu'ils mangeassent des viandes sacrifiées aux idoles et qu'ils se livrassent à l'impudicité.

15 De même, toi aussi, tu as des gens attachés pareillement à la doctrine des Nicolaïtes.

16 Repens-toi donc; sinon, je viendrai à toi bientôt, et je les combattrai avec l'épée de ma bouche.

17 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que l'Esprit dit aux Églises: A celui qui vaincra je donnerai de la manne cachée, et je lui donnerai un caillou blanc; et sur ce caillou est écrit un nom nouveau, que personne ne connaît, si ce n'est celui qui le reçoit.

18 Écris à l'ange de l'Église de Thyatire: Voici ce que dit le Fils de Dieu, celui qui a les yeux comme une flamme de feu, et dont les pieds sont semblables à de l'airain ardent:

19 Je connais tes oeuvres, ton amour, ta foi, ton fidèle service, ta constance, et tes dernières oeuvres plus nombreuses que les premières.

20 Mais ce que j'ai contre toi, c'est que tu laisses la femme Jézabel, qui se dit prophétesse, enseigner et séduire mes serviteurs, pour qu'ils se livrent à l'impudicité et qu'ils mangent des viandes sacrifiées aux idoles.

21 Je lui ai donné du temps, afin qu'elle se repentît, et elle ne veut pas se repentir de son impudicité.

22 Voici, je vais la jeter sur un lit, et envoyer une grande tribulation à ceux qui commettent adultère avec elle, à moins qu'ils ne se repentent de leurs oeuvres.

23 Je ferai mourir de mort ses enfants; et toutes les Églises connaîtront que je suis celui qui sonde les reins et les coeurs, et je vous rendrai à chacun selon vos oeuvres.

24 A vous, à tous les autres de Thyatire, qui ne reçoivent pas cette doctrine, et qui n'ont pas connu les profondeurs de Satan, comme ils les appellent, je vous dis: Je ne mets pas sur vous d'autre fardeau;

 25 seulement, ce que vous avez, retenez-le jusqu'à ce que je vienne.

26 A celui qui vaincra, et qui gardera jusqu'à la fin mes oeuvres, je donnerai autorité sur les nations.

27 Il les paîtra avec une verge de fer, comme on brise les vases d'argile, ainsi que moi-même j'en ai reçu le pouvoir de mon Père.

28 Et je lui donnerai l'étoile du matin.

29 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que l'Esprit dit aux Églises!
