Chapitre 30

7 Aza manahaka ny rainareo sy ny rahalahinareo izay nivadika tamin'i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny razany, ka dia natolony ho figagana araka izao hitanareo izao izy.

8 Koa aza manamafy ny hatokareo toy ny nataon'ny razanareo, fa atolory an'i Jehovah ny tananareo, ka midìra ao amin'ny fitoerany masina, izay nohamasininy ho mandrakizay; ary manompoa an'i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, mba hiala aminareo ny fahatezerany mirehitra.

9 Fa raha miverina amin'i Jehovah ianareo, dia hahazo famindram-po eo anatrehan'izay nitondra azy ho babo ny rahalahinareo sy ny zanakareo, ka dia ho tafaverina amin'ity tany ity izy; fa miantra sy mamindra fo Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, ary tsy mba hiamboho anareo Izy, raha miverina aminy ianareo.

15 Dia namono ny Paska izy tamin'ny andro fahefatra ambin'ny folo tamin'ny volana faharoa; ary menatra, ny mpisorona sy ny Levita, dia nanamasina ny tenany ka nampiditra ny fanatitra dorana ho ao an-tranon'i Jehovah.

16 Ary nitsangana teo amin'ny fitoerany tahaka ny fanao izy, araka ny lalàn'i Mosesy, lehilahin'Andriamanitra; ary ny mpisorona nanopy ny rà izay teny an-tànan'ny Levita.

17 Fa nisy maro tao amin'ny fiangonana izay tsy mba nanamasina ny tenany, ka dia ny Levita no nampamonoina ny Paska hisolo izay rehetra tsy madio mba hanamasina azy ho an'i Jehovah.

18 Fa nisy olona betsaka, dia maro avy tamin'ny Efraima sy ny Manase sy ny Isakara ary ny Zebolona, no tsy mba nanadio ny tenany, kanefa nihinana ny Paska ihany izy, fa tsy araka izay voasoratra. Ary Hezekia nivavaka ho an'ireny ka nanao hoe: Jehovah tsara ô, mamelà

22 Ary Hezekia dia nankasitraka ny Levita rehetra, izay nanana fahaizana ho an'i Jehovah; ary nihinana ny Paska hafitoana izy sady nanatitra fanati-pihavanana koa sy nisaotra an'i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny razany.

24 Fa Hezekia, mpanjakan'ny Joda, nanome vantotr'ombilahy arivo sy ondry aman'osy fito arivo ho an'ny fiangonana; ary ny mpanapaka koa nanome vantotr'ombilahy arivo sy ondry aman'osy iray alina ho an'ny fiangonana; ary maro ny mpisorona no nanamasina ny tenany.

26 Koa nisy fifaliana be tany Jerosalema; fa hatramin'ny andron'i Solomona, zanak'i Davida, mpanjakan'ny Isiraely, dia tsy mbola nisy tahaka izany tany Jerosalema.

27 Dia nitsangana ny Levita sy ny mpisorona ka nitso-drano ny olona; ary nohenoin'Andriamanitra ny feony, ka niakatra ho any an-danitra, fonenany masina, ny fivavany.

Chapitre 30

30:1 Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel. 30:2 For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month. 30:3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem. 30:4 The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly. 30:5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem: for they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written. 30:6 So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant that have escaped of you out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. 30:7 Don’t be like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against Yahweh, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see. 30:8 Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you. 30:9 For if you turn again to Yahweh, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.”

30:10 So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun: but they ridiculed them, and mocked them. 30:11 Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem. 30:12 Also on Judah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the word of Yahweh. 30:13 Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly. 30:14 They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron. 30:15 Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Yahweh. 30:16 They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites. 30:17 For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh. 30:18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Yahweh pardon everyone 30:19 who sets his heart to seek God, Yahweh, the God of his fathers, even if they aren’t clean according to the purification of the sanctuary.”

30:20 Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people. 30:21 The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised Yahweh day by day, singing with loud instruments to Yahweh. 30:22 Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers. 30:23 The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept another seven days with gladness. 30:24 For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves. 30:25 All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel, and who lived in Judah, rejoiced. 30:26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem. 30:27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.

Chapitre 30
1 Ézéchias envoya des messagers dans tout Israël et Juda, et il écrivit aussi des lettres à Éphraïm et à Manassé, pour qu'ils vinssent à la maison de l'Éternel à Jérusalem célébrer la Pâque en l'honneur de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. 2 Le roi, ses chefs, et toute l'assemblée avaient tenu conseil à Jérusalem, afin que la Pâque fût célébrée au second mois; 3 car on ne pouvait la faire en son temps, parce que les sacrificateurs ne s'étaient pas sanctifiés en assez grand nombre et que le peuple n'était pas rassemblé à Jérusalem. 4 La chose ayant eu l'approbation du roi et de toute l'assemblée, 5 ils décidèrent de faire une publication dans tout Israël, depuis Beer-Schéba jusqu'à Dan, pour que l'on vînt à Jérusalem célébrer la Pâque en l'honneur de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. Car elle n'était plus célébrée par la multitude comme il est écrit. 6 Les coureurs allèrent avec les lettres du roi et de ses chefs dans tout Israël et Juda. Et, d'après l'ordre du roi, ils dirent: Enfants d'Israël, revenez à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Abraham, d'Isaac et d'Israël, afin qu'il revienne à vous, reste échappé de la main des rois d'Assyrie. 7 Ne soyez pas comme vos pères et comme vos frères, qui ont péché contre l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, et qu'il a livrés à la désolation, comme vous le voyez. 8 Ne raidissez donc pas votre cou, comme vos pères; donnez la main à l'Éternel, venez à son sanctuaire qu'il a sanctifié pour toujours, et servez l'Éternel, votre Dieu, pour que sa colère ardente se détourne de vous. 9 Si vous revenez à l'Éternel, vos frères et vos fils trouveront miséricorde auprès de ceux qui les ont emmenés captifs, et ils reviendront dans ce pays; car l'Éternel, votre Dieu, est compatissant et miséricordieux, et il ne détournera pas sa face de vous, si vous revenez à lui. 10 Les coureurs allèrent ainsi de ville en ville dans le pays d'Éphraïm et de Manassé, et jusqu'à Zabulon. Mais on se riait et l'on se moquait d'eux. 11 Cependant quelques hommes d'Aser, de Manassé et de Zabulon s'humilièrent et vinrent à Jérusalem. 12 Dans Juda aussi la main de Dieu se déploya pour leur donner un même coeur et leur faire exécuter l'ordre du roi et des chefs, selon la parole de l'Éternel. 13 Un peuple nombreux se réunit à Jérusalem pour célébrer la fête des pains sans levain au second mois: ce fut une immense assemblée. 14 Ils se levèrent, et ils firent disparaître les autels sur lesquels on sacrifiait dans Jérusalem et tous ceux sur lesquels on offrait des parfums, et ils les jetèrent dans le torrent de Cédron. 15 Ils immolèrent ensuite la Pâque le quatorzième jour du second mois. Les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, saisis de confusion, s'étaient sanctifiés, et ils offrirent des holocaustes dans la maison de l'Éternel. 16 Ils occupaient leur place ordinaire, conformément à la loi de Moïse, homme de Dieu, et les sacrificateurs répandaient le sang, qu'ils recevaient de la main des Lévites. 17 Comme il y avait dans l'assemblée beaucoup de gens qui ne s'étaient pas sanctifiés, les Lévites se chargèrent d'immoler les victimes de la Pâque pour tous ceux qui n'étaient pas purs, afin de les consacrer à l'Éternel. 18 Car une grande partie du peuple, beaucoup de ceux d'Éphraïm, de Manassé, d'Issacar et de Zabulon, ne s'étaient pas purifiés, et ils mangèrent la Pâque sans se conformer à ce qui est écrit. Mais Ézéchias pria pour eux, en disant: Veuille l'Éternel, qui est bon, pardonner 19 à tous ceux qui ont appliqué leur coeur à chercher Dieu, l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, quoiqu'ils n'aient pas pratiqué la sainte purification! 20 L'Éternel exauça Ézéchias, et il pardonna au peuple. 21 Ainsi les enfants d'Israël qui se trouvèrent à Jérusalem célébrèrent la fête des pains sans levain, pendant sept jours, avec une grande joie; et chaque jour les Lévites et les sacrificateurs louaient l'Éternel avec les instruments qui retentissaient en son honneur. 22 Ézéchias parla au coeur de tous les Lévites, qui montraient une grande intelligence pour le service de l'Éternel. Ils mangèrent les victimes pendant sept jours, offrant des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et louant l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères. 23 Toute l'assemblée fut d'avis de célébrer sept autres jours. Et ils célébrèrent joyeusement ces sept jours; 24 car Ézéchias, roi de Juda, avait donné à l'assemblée mille taureaux et sept mille brebis, et les chefs lui donnèrent mille taureaux et dix mille brebis, et des sacrificateurs en grand nombre s'étaient sanctifiés. 25 Toute l'assemblée de Juda, et les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et tout le peuple venu d'Israël, et les étrangers venus du pays d'Israël ou établis en Juda, se livrèrent à la joie. 26 Il y eut à Jérusalem de grandes réjouissances; et depuis le temps de Salomon, fils de David, roi d'Israël, rien de semblable n'avait eu lieu dans Jérusalem. 27 Les sacrificateurs et les Lévites se levèrent et bénirent le peuple; et leur voix fut entendue, et leur prière parvint jusqu'aux cieux, jusqu'à la sainte demeure de l'Éternel.
